Super happy with the EN16. Gives me full flexibility to set up multiple setups for different functions in my workflow. Having some willingness to learn how LUA works is a must to get the most out it

Quite good if you know what you're in for!: 4 out of 5 stars

Quite good if you know what you're in for!

There are many such controllers which are just a grid of midi-mappable knobs, but these have many more function than those other controllers! While they're not potentiometers (which have smooth rotation action, something I wish more reviewers pointed out. In this regard, the encoders aren't as good for pure daw midi-mapping) the sheer level of scripting and open sourcing give these controllers unlimited potential! I can only imagine how useful these would be if they introduced some sort of small OLED screen module so people can introduce visualizers for their arpeggiators, or display what parameters get mapped in the blue hand script. One thing I do want in the future is some mod I can do to my encoders to make the steps these encoders rotate with a little closer to one another. I really do want these to feel smoother.

excellent!

This is a perfect and affordable way of adding tactility to software synths. I use mine with my iPad, it's really good! Perfect for people who like tweaking knobs :)
