EF44 Series 3 gives you control over performance effects, modulation, panning, and more, now with upgraded hardware and improved tactile options. It features audio-grade linear faders and newly redesigned metal rotary encoders, which are now available in both detent and smooth (non-stepped) variants, so you can choose the feel that best fits your workflow.
The fiberglass front panel with a textured finish adds durability and a more solid grip, making it well-suited for both studio and live use.
EF44 Series 3 supports MIDI CC mapping and integrates easily with your DAW or hardware setup. Each encoder is surrounded by a multicolor LED indicator that you can fully customize: assign colors, tweak brightness levels, or apply pulsing animations — all configurable in the Grid Editor. This makes it easier to navigate and label your controls, especially in darker environments.
As with all Grid modules, EF44 Series 3 features magnetic side connections and golden pins, allowing it to be flexibly expanded and seamlessly paired with other Grid controllers.
In-depth configurability
The Grid Editor enables a highly-customizable controlling solution through in-depth programmability in LUA code.

It does exactly what it is supposed to do out of the box.: 5 out of 5 stars
It does exactly what it is supposed to do out of the box.
I wanted a simple MIDI controller that did not require any additional software or modules. This sends out MIDI CC which is all I needed. In Cubase I can map the CCs anywhere I want and it works perfectly. Already planning on purchasing more modules.

Comfortable feel and highly responsive
The build quality is incredible and it physically feels natural and enjoyable to use. I got this over the PBF4 for the additional slide distance on the faders at the tradeoff of having 4 more buttons.

The device itself is amazing. Right what I was looking for. I use it for Abelton and with the basic functions it is plug and play. If you wanna go deeper you'll have to dive into the edior. There I'm missing some tutorials. You have to read much. To mention that one bord was not working but I got a new one from support. Great service.

Saving up to purchase a few more: 5 out of 5 stars
Saving up to purchase a few more
I am always skeptical with any midi controller and was on the fence with this purchase. I was looking for a simplistic and small midi controller to replicate the feeling of a hardware synth for use on VST's. This little controller has exceeded my expectations. The build quality is wonderful, the faders have the perfect amount of resistance, and the encoders are solid. I plan to pick up a few more and create a grid. If you are on the fence about this little midi controller for use in your DAW, I would recommend you make the jump and grab one. Seriously easy to integrate and use.

Love this for when I'm focusing on mixdown - faders for channels, pots for modulation that I might want to fine-tune.
