Terms of Service

These terms apply to all purchases made directly through our online store at intech.studio and to all use of this website. If you purchased from one of our retail partners, please contact them directly for after-sales support.

This website is operated by Intech Studio Kft. ("Intech Studio", "we", "us"), a company registered in Hungary. We primarily comply with EU consumer protection laws and extend equivalent good-faith terms to our global customers wherever possible. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time without notice; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.

1. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

You may withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of delivery without giving a reason, provided the product is returned in its original condition.

EU & EEA customers

  • Return the product within 30 days of delivery.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Once we receive the return we will refund the full product price and original shipping cost.

International customers (outside EU/EEA)

  • Same 30-day window and same requirement to return the product.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • We will refund the product price only; original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.

2. Lost or Undelivered Packages

If you have not received your package within 60 days of dispatch, please contact us. We will open an investigation with the carrier.

  • If the package is confirmed lost, we will either reship your order or refund the full product value — your choice.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable in this scenario.

3. Uncollected Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was not collected or a delivery was refused, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. The original outbound shipping cost is also non-refundable.

If you would like the order to be resent, you are responsible for the new outbound shipping cost.

4. Hardware Warranty

Our hardware is covered against manufacturing defects for the following periods from the date of delivery:

  • UK, EU & EFTA: 2 years (Spain and Portugal: 3 years).
  • Rest of World: 1 year.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by unsuitable or improper use, incorrect installation, natural wear and tear, negligent handling, non-compliance with operating instructions, or unauthorised modifications or repair work by the customer or third parties.

Within warranty — faulty product

  • Contact us with a description and, if possible, a short video of the issue.
  • We will diagnose the fault and either send a replacement part (for self-repair) or arrange a full exchange.
  • We cover all costs: inbound return shipping, replacement product or parts, and outbound shipping.
  • If you prefer a refund instead of a replacement, we will refund the full product price and shipping.

Within warranty — self-repair (international)

Where the fault can be fixed by swapping a small component (e.g. a fader cap or interface pin tool), we will ship you the part and a free-shipping coupon at no charge.

5. Out-of-Warranty Repairs & Service

After the warranty period, we still want to help you keep your hardware running.

  • Self-repair: We can supply spare parts. You are responsible for parts cost and shipping both ways.
  • Send-in repair (EU): You pay inbound and outbound shipping, plus any applicable service fee.
  • Send-in repair (international): Same as EU — you cover all shipping and service costs.
  • D51 / discontinued models: If your exact model is no longer repairable, we may offer a 15% discount on a new product instead.

6. Shipping, Delivery & Customs

  • We ship worldwide via tracked carriers (currently DHL, FedEx, UPS and DPD). The range of available shipping options may change.
  • Estimated delivery is typically 3–14 business days from dispatch, depending on destination. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
  • Any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes applicable in your country are your responsibility. If we are unable to deliver to your country for any reason, we will contact you and refund your order in full.
  • Where we are responsible for return or replacement shipping (e.g. warranty claims), we provide a prepaid return label.

7. Transport Damages

Please check your items immediately after receiving them to ensure they have not been damaged during shipping. If you notice damage or missing contents, contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. Notifying us promptly helps us file a claim with the shipping carrier or insurance, though failure to do so does not void your statutory warranty rights.

8. Payment & Pricing

  • EU customers: All prices are shown before VAT. The applicable VAT for your country is calculated at checkout based on your shipping destination.
  • US, Canada & international customers: Orders are charged with 0% tax by us at the point of payment. You are solely responsible for any local import duties, taxes, or tariffs due upon receipt.
  • We accept only the payment methods displayed on the checkout page at the time of purchase. We use Braintree and Stripe as payment processors. For PayPal payments, additional terms apply at paypal.com.
  • You are charged only after the final review and confirmation step of the purchase process.
  • Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time. We do not accept cash or cheques. Do not send payment information by email — we cannot guarantee the security of email communications.

9. Contact & After-Sales

For any after-sales enquiry — returns, warranty, repairs — please reach out to us at [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue. We typically respond within 1–2 business days.

10. Minimum Age Requirement

All Intech Studio website services are available solely for individuals who are 13 years of age or older. By accessing or using this website you represent that you meet this requirement.

11. Website Use & Intellectual Property

This website is provided "as is" without warranties, guarantees or representations of any kind. We disclaim, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all express, implied, statutory or other warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We may modify or remove website content at any time without notice or liability. Unauthorised attempts to access secure areas of this website may be subject to prosecution.

All title and rights in and to this website — including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights — are owned by Intech Studio or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, display or create derivative works from, or commercially exploit, any part of this website, except as necessary for the sole purpose of viewing its content. Intech Studio reserves all rights not expressly granted.

12. Limitation of Liability

Our products are intended for normal private or commercial use only — not for use in critical safety systems, nuclear facilities, or medical equipment with a lifesaving function. We accept no liability for damage arising from such use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Intech Studio nor any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, agents, employees or other representatives shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages — including without limitation loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business — arising from use of or inability to use this website or any product purchased through it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hungary and the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-laws provisions. By using this website and placing orders you agree to the personal jurisdiction of the courts of Hungary and the European Union, and waive any objection to such jurisdiction.

14. General Provisions

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing.
