Hi, I am searching for a tutorial for the communication with Ableton Live / MAX in both directions.
I can send but not receive. The settings in Live are done.

Hey, we have a guide how to set up the MIDI RX
which module are you using?
Also, use the Grid Editor MIDI Monitor to see which messages are received from Ableton.
PBF4
I like to do a preset patch in MAX / Live for the buttons.
Thank you for the link!
lmk if you need some help
@user , thank you for your help. Unfortunately, I'm still a bit in the dark. The GRID in the MIDI monitor shows that it's receiving MIDI data from LIVE, but when I click the Mute button in LIVE, it doesn't send data to the GRID-LED, but it does respond to the GRID. Is there a screenshot of where I can enable bidirectional MIDI communication?
hey, I made a profile which is check the Note off messages also
MIDIRX Note on/ Note off
upload it to your system element, and from now it should work if you map it to the mutes
Important that turn off the Simple Color>Update intesnity automatically on all Button elements
Hey, thanks a lot. Now it works! Just that the second grid is now reacting to the button of the first grid. I changed the MIDI channel, but this diddn't help.
Could it be that you accidentally mapped it to the same mute?
No, I thought the same, but not.
I will do tests ~
and change the midi messages on the second module buttons MIDI to ch 1
YES, perfect, this was the solution! And to change the Min to 64. Thanks a lot, now I can start.
