Hi, I make music and videos on my phone. I was looking at the new model of the BU16 and was wondering if it can just plug-and-play into my phone to control a DAW? Or would I need some sort of extra interface or adapter to be able to play MIDI on my phone? I was doing research and didn't find any examples of someone using a Grid device with their phone.
Specifically I have an iPhone 16 Pro and was interested in pre-ordering the new BU16 Mechanical Series 3 to use as a MIDI controller in Koala Sampler for iOS. Right now I'm using the Presonus ATOM controller, which was very easy to setup in Koala, but I would love to have something smaller and more minimalistic like the BU16.
