MIDI Monitor Debug View
Every time I switch on Debug View in the MIDI Monitor I get the following notificat: "Selected device (None) does not exits. Please select another device".
But after that the Debug View seems to work. Is there something wrong? I have a lot of errors trying out profiles so I am not sure if there is an underlying issue causing this.

Do you have the latest version of the Grid Editor and the latest firmware on the modules? Please include some screenshots to give the Intech team more clues about what might be happening.

ropidopi ·

Yes, latest Version Editor and Firmware. Modules are also new (PBF4 and EN16 Series 3).
Tried also a nighly build of the editor, same behaviour.
I tried NVM Defrag and it says "Engine is disabled. NVM Defragmentation failed".

Here is the message directly after clicking on Debug View. Happens with both modules. Grid is directly connected to the mac

Oh I see it now: I get the same message on my end. It seems like a general bug but this is a bit out of my depth... Maybe @user or @user will be able to offer some insight.

Attached is the error I'm seeing in the developer tools 🔍

This is caused by the MIDI device that could be usedto send MIDI messages from Grid Editor. It's a Dev feature and it has some quirks.

It's going to be hidden under a dev option from the next Editor version onwards!

And what about the NVM Defrag?

Did you see the lights flash in yellow color?

narayb narayb ·

If not, then the NVM operation didn't run and the message is correct.
