Hey guys, recently purchase a BU16. I'm using it inside of Ableton Live to trigger FX. I'm using something called audio routes, which is a maxforlive device and it allows me to use all of the 16 buttons for 16 different FX tracks. My problem: When I'm pressing a button, each instance of Audio routes gets sent to the same FX chain. I want each button to behave independently on each individual track. Example, by pressing button 1, only the track im currently playing on gets send to FX 1. Hope that makes sense, I can be more specific upon request. Thank you in advance.
Question Regarding MIDI CC

Hi, I haven't used the Audio Routes Maxmsp plugin before. If I understand correctly, are you trying to use the BU16 to control only the currently active track with all the buttons, or are you aiming for a setup where each button on the BU16 corresponds to a specific track (i.e., one button, one track)?
If you could share a quick video showing the issue, that might help me understand better.
Hey Greg, thanks for the reply. The first one you mentioned. Let's say I have 2 tracks playing, synths and drums. If I load an instance of audio routes on each track, I want all BU16 buttons to behave independantly on each track. As of right now, when I press button 1, both tracks are getting sent to the same FX chain. (reverb). I'm not sure it's actually possible, since you can only assign 1 instance of MIDI CC on each button. So I can't have more than one instance of audio routes. If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know.
Do the audio routes have MIDI CC implementation, or do you manually map it?
I manually map them
