PBF4 and EF44 not showing up in the Editor

I have one PBF4 and one EF44, both are older models, I haven't used them in a while since I had issues with both of them stopped responding shortly after I plugged them in, and I saw a couple of days ago that you had a bootloader update in 2023 so I unpacked both modules and plugged them in and updated the bootloader and the firmware which seems fine, but I can't see any of the modules in the Editor, I'm on Linux, and my user is in the dialup group, and it used to work. But both modules work as expected besides this issue.
