macOS System Volume with VSN1 Knob

I am trying to use the knob of the VSN1 to control the system volume on macOS. Any idea how to do this?

I read that there is a way to use AppleScript for this (see https://superuser.com/a/224382) , but I have no idea to make it work.

the generic HID volume up/down doesn't work?

You should be able to find all the media keys within the keyboard Action.

There does not seem to be volume up / down in the keyboard block. I just saw an option for pause.

Here are scrrenshots of the available options that I see. But even if there was an option for volume up / down, it would increase / decrease the volume in bigger steps, like the media keys typically do, right? It would be nice to use the knob smoothly to control volume.
