Yeah, it's annoying. It's a timeout thing, rebooting the app fixes it.

narayb narayb ·

We're working on a permanent fix for it.

Unfortunately restarting the app gives me this error.

Same here, restarting the app doesnt make it.

The empty path error has been found and a fix is in the pipeline

Dani ·

Hopefully it will be published sometime later today

@user @user the "Failed to get document because the client is offline." error is still present? The only way I was able to reproduce it, is actually turning off the internet on my machine and clicking on a a profile / preset. I'm on M1 macbookpro, 15.6.1.

If you could share what is your environment, you have some additional networking setup (proxy, vpn, etc.) or other insight which can help us in reproduction, I would appreciate it.

I don't experience that error

Awesome!! 💚

Dani ·

@user @user Sorry for the delay, we have released the patch, it should work now! (At the bottom of Profile Cloud, you should see "production - 2025-09-15 (faede99)")

@user It works for me, but I don't have the same version at the bottom, this is what I have. Is it an issue?

Dani ·

I'm happy it works for you, but it is a little bit unsettling to see you run a version that is 6 months behind 😅

Dani ·

Did you by chance click the "Load offline" button in the Profile Cloud panel? I just checked and that's the version that gets loaded right now.

Dani ·

If so, could you restart the Editor and see if the current version loads?

Dani ·

If it's still the old one, could you go to the Settings, choose the Developer settings, and check what you have under "Profile Cloud URL" (at the bottom of the page)

Dani ·

it should look like this:

Now I have the right one! I don't remember changing this setting, but entering the value you told me to worked — thanks! 🙏

Hi @user, this might not be a major bug but I noticed if you click on the version hash at the bottom, it throws the following error: Uncaught ReferenceError: PUBLIC_COMMIT_HASH is not defined at line 47891 in components.js

In addition, there were some weird things happening where profiles had been updated by Bálint and Kristóf but somehow we were still getting the outdated version (see this thread)

It would be cool if the Profile Cloud could show a bit more information about profiles, like when they were last updated.

Dani ·

Hi! Yes, this has been fixed in our latest commit, it should be released in the next few days.

Dani ·

That definately sounds weird. Could you send a screenshot how the outdated config looks in your end? (The profile cloud panel with the config selected)

Hybrid Hybrid ·

Here you go! I just loaded it again now and applied it to a virtual module but the key detail is that the profile still has the old Lightroom package name from before you renamed it. Bálint had updated this (see the other thread linked above), so it's odd that we appear to still receive an outdated version. Let me know if there's anything else you need for debugging purposes 🪲

@user the error is gone, i'm able to sign into the cloud. thanks for your efforts!
