EN16 mounted too low

It seems like some of the EN16 knobs/buttons are mounted too close to the base which means I can't properly press the button functionality.

Is there a way to adjust this or did I get a faulty unit?

You can clearly see the uneven mounting distances

hi,could you remove the cap and check if you can press the encoder?

schickling schickling ·

just "pull hard" or any specific way how to remove the cap?

schickling schickling ·

cool, yeah, pulling did the trick

just was a bit worried to damage the device 🙂

Cool, I recommend placing a small piece of paper inside the encoder cap to keep it elevated and prevent it from sinking back down.

Had the same issue and using a thin plastic ruler I was able to pry it up just a bit and now it works fine. Sticking paper in it is a good idea, haven’t needed it yet but if I run into the issue again, I’ll try it.

On closer inspection it does look like the knobs are pushed in at slightly, almost imperceptibly, different heights.
