Controllers Sync to MIDI Info?

Hello, I'm consider buying either PO16 or EN16 as well as one of the faders. My question is do these controllers automatically sync/snap to the MIDI info when I for example, connect it to Logic to use? In other words, when I open up my Logic project will the fader knobs automatically move themselves to reflect what the virtual mixer's faders are set to? And also do PO16 and EN16 also do that? I'm mainly wondering because I don't know how I can use PO16 properly if I'm moving between projects and the controller's knobs do NOT snap to the settings of that project. Thanks!
