Configuration lost

Hi guys, today I connected my grid and I think something went wrong with Grid Editor and now I don't have the configuration that I used till now.
I assumed it is automatically saved somewhere?
In the folder "My Configs" I have only one and it is the same like before, but it doesn't have any of my changes.
How can I recover it?
I prepared this configuration for a long time, I don't want to believe that I've lost it.

Thank you

and if, with big patience, I rebuild my custom configuration, how can I make sure that I save it? is there a way to export it?

Hi, you can save it in the Profile Cloud. On the bottom left side, click the Profile Cloud icon to open it, then use the + button to save your module configuration. You can overwrite it anytime you make changes or create a new save.

Also you can find profiles / presets under documents -> grid-userdata -> configs in json format

then if I never saved the config of each grid, I've lost them

how did the modules reset? 🥶

kkerti kkerti ·

It happens very rarely in our experience, should not happen in the first place

there's no log, backup or cache somewhere where I can dig?

kkerti kkerti ·

I'm afraid not. What was the profile's name?

Emilio Emilio ·

io mean my profile name in the Profile Cloud?

kkerti kkerti ·

yes. I can ask a developer tomorrow to look it up, but don't have high hopes!

this is the name: @emilio
thank you!

FWIW, this happened to me a few times yesterday while, as it turns out, I was pushing the memory limits of the module. (Or, at least, that's what I suspect based on behavior (including memory errors in the debug output) and the applied fix.) Thankfully, I usually had elements or whole modules saved to local/cloud, so I was able to recover quickly.

The main culprit, for my situation, at least: (too many) unique functions stored in element self variables on every element of an EN16 (with the potential compounding factor of a near-max-size system setup.)
