Change Mac OS X audio output volume level

Quite new to MIDI, so I might have missed the obvious.

Is there anyway to change the Mac OS X audio output volume level when sliding a fader?
I want to change the level of the main output, and not in one app, as I might be using multiple apps.

Hi, I did a quick search and I think there is no access to the Mac main volume with MIDI. I recommend using a sound card, which also provides better sound quality, or an analog volume control (cheaper).

If you want to control sound or lighting software, you can easily do so with our controllers. Could you give me more details about your setup and the programs you're using? I might be able to help you more
