After updating the editor to V1.6.2 and the modules (VSN1L & EF44) to 1.5.0, I wanted to install the AbletonJS package. The ‘Install MIDI script’ button consistently returns an error. And the manual installation buttons are inactive. So I installed version 3.7.2 as indicated here: https://github.com/leolabs/ableton-is In Ableton activated the AbletonJS script, which responds that the server is running on port 52595. In the grid editor, I load the ‘AbletonJS Selected Track Control VSN1L’ configuration on VSN1L, but nothing happens: the buttons are inoperative and the LCD is black. Could someone kindly provide instructions on how to get the VSN1L to send its commands to Live? PS: iMac Pro running Ventura 13.7.8 and Ableton Live Suite 12.3.

Pottz · Anything more on this…I’ve installed the package, but WHAT is it meant to do? I expected to see Ableton related actions appear, but nothing. @user you mentioned things to fix back on 7 Dec, are these still broken? If so, shouldn’t you pull the package so people don’t waste time trying to work it out!
Pottz · I'm beginning to get a little worried about the level of support for all things Intech.... this Ableton Track Control (https://intech.studio/workflows/ableton-selected-track-control?srsltid=AfmBOooF70SwhbdXYVnD-J96DkE5hzZraBQnDwYoe8rzalluaNYjJzkR) is listed on the Intech site as available functionality, but if you cannot get it to work, or get help with it, it really shouldn't be advertised IMO. Is there anyone who can help with this, or point me at some available documentation? I have posted on the support forum too - it is unclear where we should be posting...my question on that on Discord went unanswered!
kkerti · I am sorry, I have others matters to take care and didn't allocate the time to fix this package. Pulling from suggested is not an option without an editor release.

instalation:
- Install the AbletonJS package in Grid Editor
- Install the MIDI Remote Script
- Open Profile Cloud and upload the “AbletonJS Selected Track Control” profile to your VSN1
- Open Ableton Live → Preferences → MIDI → Control Surface and select AbletonJS
- Set Input and Output to Grid, and enable Track and Remote

To use this library, you'll need to install and activate the MIDI Remote Script in Ableton.js. To do that, copy the midi-script folder of this repo to Ableton's Remote Scripts folder and rename it to AbletonJS. The MIDI Remote Scripts folder is usually located at ~/Music/Ableton/User Library/Remote Scripts
AK · trying to load the profile on the VSN1 i am getting: Page change is disabled! Store or discard your unsaved
change(s)! … even though it reads "0 active changes" on top… and have no clue how to proceed. Any hint on how to go on?

But before I spend any time looking into this, is it (and the package) actually working. @user 's comments above seem to indicate that there is something needing to be done. I'll take a look at his once I know it's all working - it looks great on the face of it.
