The PO16 is a sleek, compact, single-turn rotary potentiometer module now built with metal shaft potentiometers. Suitable for controlling quick motion changes like EQ, filters, or synth parameters, which are mapped out as one-knob-per-function. Equipped with customisable multicolored LED lights to enable labelling in dark environments. Facilitate differentiating each control element by changing the color of each indicator LED, adjusting brightness levels individually or adding pulsing animations.

In-depth configurability

The Grid Editor enables a highly-customizable controlling solution through in-depth programmability in LUA code.

Multi-platform support

Compatible with Mac OS, Windows, Linux operating systems and mobile platforms. Grid supports USB native control options like MIDI, HID keyboard, mouse and game control.

General Review
The PO16 straight out of the box, plugs straight into my HP laptop, giving me live midi parameter control of my DAWs and various VST instruments. I love the size and feel of the PO16. It comes travelling with me for music production on the go, taking up minimal space along with my laptop.
Met Your Expectations?
My expectation was easily met with this fantastic mini midi controller. It is a perfect fit for my needs taking very little space in my studio, and minimal space when travelling along with me. I have a heap of hardware equipment in my studio, but when travelling the PO16 is my go to controller, enabling me to produce live manipulated tracks pretty much anywhere connected to my laptop. I will be shortly adding to the PO16, and look forward to using the amazing innovative connectivity these Intech Studio devices have. I also love the fact that these units can be repaired at home by the user, since Intech Studio provide replacements components to do that.
How Do You Use Grid?
I use the PO16 as a midi interface to VCV Rack, various Cherry Audio virtual instruments, and within the Reaper DAW. It works fantastically well, giving me instant adjustment to the parameters I wanting to manipulate.

Easy to connect, but needs some time and effort to customise to your needs. And now it works with my blackbox to control effects and some other parameters, also controlling bluebox at the same time)

Great controller! Especially in conjunction with the PBF4 modules, I find. It's nice that with both units you can put together a nice 4 channel mixer and extend that. The PBF4 is well built, feels solid and comes in a simple kept design. Also nice is that there's enough space between each single knob.

It has been great to be able to control so many audio sends at the same time on live situations. The modular flexibility is one of the best characteristics as I can take to the performances the exact modules I need.

Love the programmability of these devices. The PO16 works great to control VSTs and my DAW. Works great out of the box but if you want to go deeper configurability and programmability is awesome. But requires a basic bit of programming knowledge.

The build is great. My only complaint would be that I wish the knobs were a little bit further apart and had more grip. And turned a little bit more uniformly smooth between each knob.
How Do You Use Grid?
I use grid to control vsts and my DAW (Cubase). I use in conjunction with a stream deck on a Mac. I have been able to integrate the PO16 knobs with my stream decks which is exactly what I was looking for. I will also be using it to control other software but have not set up yet.

Relatively easy to setup and I love that you can magnetically snap them together how you want.
Met Your Expectations?
After a little bit of learning I was able to quickly build my first configuration for controlling the Torso S-4 parameters for all four tracks. I look forward to creating new configurations for more synths and drum machines.

I use the PO16's to control parameters on the Torso Electonics S-4 Sculpting Sampler, plus other Synths and drum machines.
