I've had it for a while now, and I'm still using it! Hence, I am a satisfied user :) I have a few PBF4, PO16 and BU16, and all have good response and fit to the hand. With the older pieces I felt that the bottom cover was not very good quality. I dropped it once and it cracked right away. But the new pieces purchased later had noticeably better material, so they have improved on that. I struggled with the Grid Editor for a while, but et the end figured it out, and I'm thrilled with how I can set any parameter I want, even the LED blinking and the color I want. I had a couple of times at the gig that the connectivity of the modules to each other went wrong, but luckily it didn't have much effect, and they always connected together in a split second. I have now 6 moduls, and probably will buy more :)))
Met Your Expectations?
I wasn't expecting much, but it totally lived up to my expectations.
How Do You Use Grid?
I use it as midi controller for Ableton Live!, for controlling native mixer, and also for VST instruments. I will now extend the use also to NI Traktor :)

What I was looking for

I was looking for a compact controller for midi & DAW for live performance, & the PBF4 does what I need!. I like having knobs, sliders, & buttons, it works for me, it’s easy to use, & I bought the BU16 cause I needed more buttons as well. Overall, I’d recommend it

General Review
Great controller, well built and very versatile. Aesthetically, it's far above anything else available. I'm using it to control my elektron digiton, midi through Knot. I have a PBF4 and PO16, planning to pick up more to complete my set up. The buttons are clicky, fader is a nice length (not too short like I was originally worried about) and comfortable. The pot are fine, minor issue for me is the smooth surface and resistance makes it slightly harder to turn. I'll probably replace the pot's cap, maybe intech will offer replacements gaps like the fader knobs. Connecting two units together works great, strong magnets, no issues connecting to editor and firmware update. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the following: (1) Build quality is great, but PBF4 sides are slightly warped outwards on 2 sides. Intech said it's from the printing process but they're optimizing in the next couple of months, but sounds like it could be bent back in place. They did offer return or exchange and their support is helpful. (2) The editor connects great as noted above, syncs well with the units (including lights) and seems robust versatile, but some what unintuitive and has a very steep learning curve vs. something like launchpda pro or midifighter or morningstar gear. A lot of info is provided, but requires cross referencing manual/wiki/guide. It might just be my lack of programming abilities, which seems to be needed, for actions more complex than basic midi action block. More sample profiles with explanation on how they're created, would help a lot.

I'm using the Grid controllers mainly at my live performances. Especially to control my MPC One, which works great. I think these modules are awesome products. They are well built, feel solid and look good. All of the knobs and faders feel as good as you would expect them to and the buttons are nice clicky. What I really like about the grid controllers is that you can customize them as much as you need. And easy to travel with. that's pleasing indeed! Thank you Intech Team! Great job!

I've always been annoyed by the layouts of general midi controllers. So often it's just some amount of knobs and faders in some uninspired layout that doesn't match what I had in mind, so memorizing what each knob does is a hard chore. There's of course still some "grid of knobs"-thing going on with some of these controllers, but being able to connect and arrange them as needed is still absolutely awesome. I've created my own little synth layout with a few controllers and it's the first time playing a software synth that felt just like playing with a dedicated hardware synth. Love it.
Met Your Expectations?
Overall, yes. Connectivity and setup are as easy as advertised - they really just snap together and immediately work. I think the build quality could still be nicer (although I trust them to hold up well, there's no issues) and I would love some more sparse units with larger, smoother feeling encoders. But it already is quite awesome as is.
How Do You Use Grid?
Mainly to control software synths and to toggle some DAW controls.

General Review
Nine days ago I ordered a PBF4 and a PO16. Because the package was coming from another continent I assumed it would take at least a few days to arrive, so I decided to read as much of the online manual as I could while waiting for the modules to arrive. I managed to get through the entire "Getting Started" section, as well as a few of the more advanced sections I was particularly interested in. I was a bit puzzled at first, and needed to read some sections a few times before I understood what was going on. For example, learning the coding for the Local Init section took a bit of thinking, but once I got the hang of that everything started to fall into place. I felt ready to start! When I saw that the package was out for delivery earlier today, I wondered whether the week I spent learning the material in the manual would be worth it, or if I would run into the usual beginner troubles when learning anything new. I am happy to announce that everything works perfectly so far, exactly as described in the manual. I started with the default MIDI settings, right out of the box, no Editor needed...it worked perfectly, and was able to control, for example, all parameters in my VCV Rack patches. Having seen how easy that was, I tried some simple programming, such as changing a button mode, adding different LED colours, etc. All worked as advertised! Now on to some more in-depth uses...very exciting!
Met Your Expectations?
So far the two modules I have ordered have met my high expectations. All works as advertised, build quality is excellent, and I cannot believe how much fun you can have with these compact little controllers. Excellent controllers even if you do not want to program, endless possibilities if you do program. Gear of the year award? It is for me!
How Do You Use Grid?
I plan to use Grid mostly to control VCV Rack patches, to control certain aspects of my DAW, and who knows what else...maybe some keyboard shortcuts and all kinds of other things. Of course, now I am already thinking that I need more modules!
